How to store Sake properly
For long-term storage a cool, dark location is even better, as sake stored at the right temperature and the right humidity will keep for many years.
Once bottled, sake begins to mature and change color. Sake is particularly sensitive to high temperatures and sunlight and so ideally should be protected from light. Under these conditions, the average sake can be stored for up to 16 months without any change in quality.
